Stop by the Olympia AHA Museum for a chance to meet local artist Molly Wheat Baker!
Molly is an artist and designer living and creating amongst the lush Salish Sea region. As a lifelong resident, much of Molly’s work documents the natural world around her through observation and remembering. She graduated from the Interdisciplinary Arts Program at the University of Washington with a focus on fiber arts and later served as a public educator. Currently, Molly is primarily an illustrator and painter specializing in hand-painted signs and murals, along with illustration and design services.
Molly’s “Salish Sea Friends” are featured in our exhibit It’s the Water.
