Stop by the Olympia AHA Museum for a chance to meet handwoven textile designer, weaver, and abstract painter Julie Simpson!

Julie’s mural NECTAR is featured in our exhibit Paint the Town. The mural was originally created in 2020 through a project driven by the Olympia Artspace Alliance to install plywood murals painted by local artists on business windows throughout downtown Olympia.

Julie will be joined by Lucy Gentry of the Olympia Artspace Alliance. The OAA is a nonprofit organization working to create, foster and preserve affordable space for artists in Olympia.
