Free Workshop | December 13, 2025 | 2:00–4:00 PM
Olympia Arts & Heritage Alliance Museum & Visitor Center
This holiday season, we’re partnering with the Washington State Archives to help you protect the stories that matter most. Join us at the Oly AHA! Museum for a hands-on workshop dedicated to preserving family scrapbooks, photo albums, and treasured memories.
Whether you’re opening old albums with loved ones or thinking about how to safeguard your family history for future generations, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to do just that. Washington State Archives experts will guide participants through best practices for caring for fragile materials, discuss approaches to digitization, and share tips for creating new albums designed to last.
As a museum dedicated to preserving and sharing our community’s stories, Oly AHA! is proud to offer this opportunity for the public to learn from leaders in the field of preservation. When families protect their own histories, our collective heritage grows stronger.
